This is where you look back at what you changed and see if you actually implemented your plan successfully. Make sure that your example shows you how to piece together a final evaluation.

There are several things to look at when you are evaluating the effectiveness of the plan. First, look at the reaction of your employees. How do they feel about the plan? Do they feel like it can work? Second, look at what your employees are learning. What has the employee learned from the personal leadership development plan? Next evaluate behaviors, as in what skills the employee developed and what new information he or she is using while on the job. Finally, look at the results. You cannot argue with results. What results happened after implementing personal leadership development plans? Are employees more motivated and do they desire to be in leadership positions? Were the new skills actually applied to their jobs? Sometimes it can be difficult to effectively evaluate the success rate of the personal leadership development plan, however.
